Sleeping Figure in Yellow Field

Against an unrelenting cadmium ground, a collapsed black form anchors the composition with surprising authority. Ragged red outlines fracture and multiply, suggesting velocity or distress, while the figure's white dot-eyes and downturned mouth register exhaustion rather than violence. The two isolated white circles below function as a quiet counterpoint, grounding what might otherwise read as pure agitation in something more contemplative and unresolved.
