Frequency in Yellow

Against a saturated cadmium ground, dense white forms press outward with an almost architectural insistence, their rounded mass suggesting both speed and arrest. Black linework cuts across the composition in loose, unresolved trajectories - neither mapping nor decorating, but registering the duration of a decision mid-thought. The tension between the two systems, one bold and declarative, one provisional and searching, gives the work its nervous coherence.
