Form Consuming Itself
Leo Dubois
Four loosely rendered ovoid forms hover above a horizontal line, their irregular contours describing a spontaneous, almost tremulous hand. Dots punctuate the negative space between shapes, suggesting dispersion or dissolution. The marks resist pictorial resolution - neither fully abstract nor representational, they occupy an ambiguous register where gesture and figure remain suspended. Within the exhibition's framing of attachment and affection, these forms acquire an elegiac quality: objects departing, fragmenting, or perhaps coalescing into temporary coherence before inevitable separation.
