Translucent washes of rose, cobalt, and sage accumulate into a chromatic density that picks up the colour field investigations of Helen Frankenthaler, yet here the staining logic is inverted - forms press upward rather than soaking inward, asserting volume through overlap rather than absorption. Ruqayyah Osei-Mensah constructs an image that Deleuze might recognise as pure becoming: no hierarchy of figure over ground survives the confluence.
