Two Strokes, Unequal

One vertical, one veering - Adeyemi's paired lines enact what Barnett Newman spent a career negotiating: the charged interval between presences. The first stroke stands, plumb and arrested; the second tilts into space as though mid-fall, its diagonal weight pulling against the white field with quiet insistence. Together they propose that difference, not repetition, is where meaning accumulates.
