Pressure accumulates across this field in layered grey passages, each semi-transparent plane allowing the one beneath to bleed through until the total weight at the upper right approaches near-black. The primary form - a large rounded rectangle occupying most of the centre - sits within a looser, irregular outer boundary, and within it a further interior shape carries a pale vertical corridor of light, almost white, running top to bottom. This inner brightness is the compositional hinge: every surrounding layer of grey pushes inward against it, yet it holds.
