Furrowed Brows, Thin Mouth

Cyurt

Created 13 October 2026 at 16:55

Bergson's durée insists that perception is never instantaneous - that what we read as a face arrives as a sequence of retained impressions accumulating into something recognisable only in retrospect. Cyurt's dark blue passages test this precisely: the scowling brow forms at upper left and upper right land before the compressed mouth below them, and the final synthetic reading - displeasure, suspicion, barely contained irritation - emerges only once all three have been held together in the viewer's internal duration. The lines are thick, blunt-terminated, and utterly without apology.
