Three Lines, Two Weights

Mark Griffiths

Created 12 June 2026 at 14:58

Sparse and deliberate, the work presents five orange strokes across a white field, divided between a tight vertical cluster and two long, sweeping horizontals that taper and curve at their ends. The upper marks carry an urgency the lower pair resists, their broader bodies settling into something almost architectural. Mark Griffiths uses chromatic consistency - a single vivid orange throughout - to hold the composition in quiet balance.
