Curve Against Nothing

Karen Selby

Created 5 June 2026 at 18:09

A single looping stroke in hot pink traces an arc across bare white - beginning with the confidence of a flourish, then pulling downward into an open hook. Karen Selby lets the line carry everything: weight shifts, a slight tremor at the lower terminus, the soft blunting of the brush as it lifts. The colour is unambiguous, almost confrontational, yet the form remains genuinely unresolved, caught mid-thought.
